And the hour moves...

Back to GMT...woohoo

The weather has been atrocious...bad winds and extremely heavy rain. Got soaked last sunday walking from the IFI to my bus on D'Olier St, and again today walking from town to my parents house. I hate getting soaked!!!

Anyhoo...

Saw Nightwatch last sunday - excellent, if not a bit flawed. I hope they make the second and third parts of the trilogy.

Saw Tim Burton's Corpse Bride - excellent! 'Nuff said.

Saw Serenity - this was actually a lot of fun. Seriously. Very witty dialogue, lots of quips, very good FX, great chemistry between the cast, excellent fight scenes...I could go on...but I won't.

Got Rammstein's new album, "Rosenrot" - TOP CLASS!!! EXCELLENT! BRILLIANT!!! I LOVE this band so much. Just...simply...awesome. Funny too ('Te Quiero Puta' with its Mexican theme).

Next saturday sees me flying off to Madrid...I can't wait!!! I'm also so not ready - I don't even have a suitcase!!! Oh well. I'll be getting on the plane with many, many plastic bags - hehe.

Happy Hallowe'en!!!

Happy Birthday to old man, Dave!!! :)

Lack of updates...I know, I'm terrible.

Let's see...got my laptop...love it...alot.

Problems with repayments and the direct debit...bank acting weird...

Saw 'A History of Violence' ... quite good...very graphic violence...

Finally got the three Mercan Dede albums from Amazon...the lovely postman simply wedged them into the side of the porch...luckily I spotted them before it rained or the foxes ran off with them!

Got my glasses adjusted...again. Paid the balance. Oh and apparently my left ear is higher than my right ear. Always good to know. Funny how this hasn't been obvious up til now...hmmm...

Oh and last monday I almost got knocked down at pedestrian lights coz some asshole forgot to stop and had to break at the last minute...overshooting the white line and stopping far beyond where I would have been standing if I had gotten that far...ie, I'd have been under the car. Just shows you he had to have been speeding because he stopped feet beyond where he had breaked. Now that freaked me out.

Saw the movie 'Four Brothers'... entertaining.

Today has been a nightmare...I'm off home to recouperate!
